About This Spot

Super Burrito is the kind of spot that feels like a well-worn neighborhood shortcut — familiar, a little rough around the edges, but always welcoming. Tucked away on Nugget Avenue in Sparks, this unpretentious Mexican restaurant buzzes quietly with a comforting, easygoing rhythm. It’s not about fancy décor or intricate plating here; instead, it’s where hearty flavors and big portions take center stage, served with a casual smile from folks who know their regulars by name.

Walking in or rolling through the drive-thru, you sense that this place is grounded in community and genuine care. The pace is steady, unhurried, yet efficient — the kind of rhythm that invites you to pause for a moment, absorb the familiar smells of seasoned meats, grilled tortillas, and that unmistakable tang of fresh salsa. Super Burrito doesn’t rush you, yet it always gets your meal out before hunger can settle in too deep.

The menu unfolds like a story of traditional flavors, featuring generously stuffed burritos that feel almost like a hearty embrace, super-sized nachos piled high with chicken, and tacos that carry the kind of authenticity that speaks to both longtime locals and curious newcomers. There’s a warmth to their dishes — from the slow-simmered carne asada to the lively spice of al pastor — that mirrors the kindness behind the counter.

In a dining scene that can sometimes feel sterile or staged, Super Burrito stands out as a place where the human element remains front and center. It’s where the food is straightforward and satisfying, where you can expect a friendly word when you walk in, and where the sour cream feels just right, like a secret ingredient made with care. This is comfort food in the truest sense, served up without fuss but always with heart.

While the building might not catch your eye with shiny finishes, the genuine spirit here more than makes up for it. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite to steady your evening or stopping by to feed the whole family, this corner of Sparks holds a quiet charm — a place that invites you to return, dive into a massive burrito, and find something familiar in every bite.

I went to the drive thru for the first time today. The lady at the drive thru was super sweet. The sour cream here is bomb. I think they use FUD crema (sour cream). If I need some sober up ???? food I will be here . I’m going to try the super burrito next time. Stay tuned…

Had a green Chile wet burrito. Absolutely off the hook. It was delicious. Been coming here for a while now, never been disappointed. Pricing is good, service is great and food is always great tasting. Would recommend to everyone. L.A. Shipment.

Food is great. It's an older building, so not fancy at all, but the staff is friendly and food is great. Burritos are the size of a football and Super Nachos is a huge serving.
